Founder JBL, Inc. & TCRS, LLC, & Lange Gen Y, LLC real estate investment entities that have invested in commercial, residential and agricultural assets since 1985, including several developments with outside investors. These entities have had 100s of tenants managed internally.


Founder and owner of RedGuard, a startup company in the portable storage industry, growing into modular structures that are scalable with qualities including, blast resistant, ballistic resistant, chemical release resistant, storage, modular commercial buildings, tornado and hurricane resistant. International business with combined revenues of $130 million serving both the Western and Eastern hemispheres.


Board Member and 25% owner of family farming operation-10,000 acres of agricultural production of wheat, corn, cotton, soybeans, and a variety of other crops.


Board Member and Chair of loan committee, 20% owner of First National Bank of Conway Springs. Grew the bank from $16 million in assets to $110 million in 13 years.

Senior Executive at Candlewood Hotel Company, Inc., a public start up hotel company based in Wichita, Kansas. Responsible for capital markets activities, including CMBS and construction mini-perm mortgage financing, sale-leasebacks of owned properties, and joint venture development projects, in total over $1.5B in activity.


Further, responsible for operation and management of the Company's non-core branded assets, comprising $50M in annual revenue, $150M in asset size and approximately 900 employees coast to coast.


In 2003, ran the multi-party asset sale of Candlewood, with the brand sold to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) at the time the largest hotel company in the world, and the remaining real estate to Hospitality Properties Trust (HPT), a Newton MA based, hospitality focused REIT. Served briefly as Managing Director at IHG during the integration of Candlewood into the IHG platform.

  • Alpha BioSystems (also Executive), a microbial producer for natural products used in farming and waste industries; 20 years with Alpha BioSystems.
  • Joint Venture interest with Kyods Yushi, a world-wide producer of grease products in their first manufacturing facility in the United States. consulted on the pre-construction, engineering, construction and regulatory start-up of the facility.


Together with experience at Lubrication Engineers and Alpha BioSystems, has developed specific expertise in environmental matters for real estate and manufacturing businesses, including risk underwriting, risk mitigation and state and federal regulations.
